About this Episode

Do you find that at times you mentally drift off during competitions?

You don't know why this happens, but it does happen.

And before you know it the game is over and you don't know how it ended so fast?

Don't feel bad because you don't know how to concentrate. It's not something that automatically happens, it's a learned skill and you haven't learned how to concentrate yet.

Before we put in place the strategy to help you concentrate, we have to do this first;

First Step - Awareness

Ask yourself these questions and then answer them.

  1. What was my mindset like before competition?
  2. What words am I using to talk to myself before competition?
  3. What was my mindset like during competition?
  4. What words was I using to talk to myself before the competition?

Second Step - Feedback
What is the feedback from the First Step? Look at the facts.
(listen to the episode if you are not sure what to answer here)

  2. How Do You Create That Outcome?
