    <![CDATA[<p>Now that you have completed Part 1 Goal Setting, it&#39;s time to move into Part 2.</p>

<p>You should be now clear on what goals you are setting for your life and your sport.</p>

<p>Now it is time to identify what problems or challenges you will encounter and how you will overcome them.</p>

<p>Give yourself time to work through this one. Even though the questions are very straight forward allow for time to brainstorm and come up with action steps.</p>

<p>All you will need is two A4 sheets of paper to do this. One sheet for Life Destiny (Life/Personal Goals) and one sheet for Sport Destiny (Sports Goals).</p>

<p><strong>WHAT CHALLENGES WILL I ENCOUNTER?</strong> <br>
Draw up 4 columns per page, write each of these questions in the 4 columns.</p>

Reason 1 - you are about to finish school or
Reason 2 - you are coming up to break time.
Life tends to happen in phases.
Our first phase of our life is around the 18 - 22 years of age. In this phase it is all about education and learning (school and sport for example).
But when you get towards the end of that first phase it's time to think about your future and what you want.
Phase 1: 0 to 20 years
Phase 2: 20 to 30 years
Phase 3: 30 to 40 years
Phase 4: 40 to 50 years and so on.
It doesn't matter what phase you are in, I want you to write out the answers to these questions.
What don't I want in my life?
What do I want in my life?
What are the consequences if I don't achieve those things in my life?
This is all about getting you clear.
Get out your notebook, take notes and craft out the next phase of your life.

2. Do I need to work on my fitness for my sport? And how do I do that?

<p>It&#39;s important you follow your dream because really what is life all about... to go after what you want. </p>

<p>Never let anyone else&#39;s limitations hold you back, it is their belief and thoughts not yours... so make sure you listen only to what you want and not what others want for you.</p>

<p>What we are going to do in this video here is to plan out your big dream and what you need to do to get started. It won&#39;t matter what level you are, it&#39;s just important that you are dreaming big and working on accomplishing your big dreams!!</p>

<p>We will work through this through phases, make sure you watch the video as it will make more sense... then start working on it.</p>

<p>Step 1</p>

<ol>
<li><p>Baseline Reality Check - write out a description of where you currently are in your sport. What is your stand like? what level are you competing at? What are your sports skills like? How are your mental skills?</p></li>
<li><p>Then we work on the phases.</p></li>
</ol>

<p>When working through the phases the questions to ask and answer.</p>

<ol>
<li>Do I need a coach for my sports skills? And who should I get to coach me?</li>
<li>Do I need to work on my fitness for my sport? And how do I do that?</li>
<li>Do I need to work on my mental skills? And what should I do to get help with my mental skills?</li>
<li>Who are the peers I can train and play with the will improve my level?</li>
</ol>

<p>It&#39;s time to get to work.</p>

Step 1 - 2 Questions
1. What is your big vision - your big ultimate sports goal?
2. How long will it take you to get there? (be real).
Step 2 - The 5 Phase Vision
In this 5 Phase Vision we work backwards from your big ultimate sports goal (being Phase 5) back to where you are now in achieving your Phase 1 Vision (your first goal - it's the first stepping stone to your Ultimate Sports Goal.
Here's how you do it;
1. Phase 5 Vision is ? (Your Ultimate Sports Goal)
2. Phase 4 Vision is ? (Your goal before the Ultimate Sports Goal)
3. Phase 3 Vision is ? (Your goal before Phase 4 goall)
4. Phase 2 Vision is ? (Your goal before Phase 3 goal)
5. Phase 1 Vision is ? (Your first goal that will lead you to Phase 2)
Step 3 - Your First Goal (Phase 1)
Listen to the episode to ensure you have your key elements in place, then answer these questions below;
What is your Phase 1 Goal?
What routines must you have in the morning?
What routines must you have in the evening?
What type of training must you do?
What type of skill development must you be focused on?
What type of training must you incorporate to perform under pressure?
What type of system must you have in place to track and evaluate what you are doing?
Once you have answered all those questions...
You will need to plan out your Phase 1 Goal to get to Phase 2.
1. What needs to be done on a weekly basis?
2. What needs to be done on a daily basis?
Your plan doesn't have to be perfect, but you must begin working on it. Then you can make changes where needed along the way.

<p>You can set quarterly goals and take it quarter by quarter but we also need to see the big picture. We need to get a very clear view/vision in our minds so that we know exactly what we are working towards.</p>

<p>In this episode you better get your journal and pen ready as you have got some work to do.</p>

<p>Here are the questions below that you must answer in order to very clear on what you want!</p>

<li><p>What is my ultimate dream?</p></li>
<li><p>What don&#39;t I have in my life right now and whay don&#39;t I have it?</p></li>
<li><p>What have I learned up to this point in my life?<br>
(a) Where have I been successful?<br>
(b) Where have I been unsuccessful?<br>
(c) What have I learned?</p></li>
<li><p>Designing You Inc<br>
(a) Describe who I want to become.<br>
(b) What is my purpose?</p></li>
<li><p>What are the BIG 5? (the big 5 steps in order for me to achieve my big vision, my ultimate dream/goal). - do this backwards.</p></li>
<li><p>What are the BIG 5 from #1 Big Move? (5 steps in order from this starting point to ultimate dream).</p></li>
<li><p>How long will the BIG 5 take?</p></li>
</ol>

<p>The following episode we will break the first Big Move down into phases.</p>

6a. What are my Big 5 (5 essential steps) for my first goal? (reverse engineer - work backwards to starting point)?
6b. What are my Big 5 actions steps? (beginning from starting point - flip 6a around)?
6c. When will this goal be completed? What is the deadline date? How many days to complete the goal?
6d. What are the phases (all the action steps in each phase - the detail) for completion of this goal?
If you have more than one goal for this quarter - repeat the same questions from 6 to 6d.
What is my GPS Plan? (Goal, Purpose, Strategy)
This should be a one page divided into 3 columns - Goal, Purpose, Strategy for each goal.
