What did you come up with?
You may have come up with reasons such as;
* worried about looking like an idiot
* worried about what your peers, parents of coach thought of you if you lost
* worried about looking like you can't play
* felt embarrassed if you lost to an opponent you shouldn't have lost to
* you work so hard, but you can't understand why you keep losing, the harder you work the worse you get
* all you want to do is to be a professional athlete but you can't see yourself there because you are losing
* you don't want to play bad and so on...
Doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result will not change the result.
In order for you to change the result... you need a new strategy because the one you are using is not working.
**Let's now pinpoint what is going on in your games/competitions/tournaments.
1. What are you focusing on when you are playing? (answer in detail)
2. Why are you focusing on what you can't do? (answer in detail)
These 2 following questions reflect what we discovered in this particular area we were questioning. 
Make sure you listen to the episode so you know what I am talking about here.
3. What can you do to help you focus?
4. What can you do to cope with pressure?
This is to establish your new strategy... and now it's time to get to work.

There could be a combination of reasons why you are frightened of losing, such as;
* letting the team down
* letting others down who are relying on you
* letting your parents or relatives down
* letting the coach down
* don't want to look like an idiot
* don't want to look like you can't play
* you will find it embarrassing
* you are not good enough
* you don't want to be beaten
* you are not popular when you lose
But other than how you feel... how good are you at:
* your sport?
* how good are your sports skills?
* how fast are you?
* do you have the mental and physical stamina to get through?
* are you agile?
* how well do you perform in training and on game day?
* how well do you handle pressure?
If all of your energy is focused on not losing... you will lose because you are not focused on what you must be doing versus worrying about losing.
Your focus is to begin working on your plan. Get this right, it's an essential part to begin working on.
What skills must you master?
What does your fitness level need to be at? 
What type of food should you be consuming to perform at your best?
What performance level must you be at in training and on game day?
What will you do to handle pressure?
It's time to identify why you are frightened then how you will put these first steps in place?

    <![CDATA[<p>When it comes to playing your sport, are you frightened of losing your games, your matches, your competitions and in your tournaments? </p>

<p>There could be a combination of reasons why you are frightened of losing, such as;</p>

<ul>
<li>letting the team down</li>
<li>letting others down who are relying on you</li>
<li>letting your parents or relatives down</li>
<li>letting the coach down</li>
<li>don&#39;t want to look like an idiot</li>
<li>don&#39;t want to look like you can&#39;t play</li>
<li>you will find it embarrassing</li>
<li>you are not good enough</li>
<li>you don&#39;t want to be beaten</li>
<li>you are not popular when you lose</li>
</ul>

<p>But other than how you feel... how good are you at:</p>

<ul>
<li>your sport?</li>
<li>how good are your sports skills?</li>
<li>how fast are you?</li>
<li>do you have the mental and physical stamina to get through?</li>
<li>are you agile?</li>
<li>how well do you perform in training and on game day?</li>
<li>how well do you handle pressure?</li>
</ul>

<p>If all of your energy is focused on not losing... you will lose because you are not focused on what you must be doing versus worrying about losing.</p>

<p>Your focus is to begin working on your plan. Get this right, it&#39;s an essential part to begin working on.</p>

<ol>
<li>What skills must you master?</li>
<li>What does your fitness level need to be at? </li>
<li>What type of food should you be consuming to perform at your best?</li>
<li>What performance level must you be at in training and on game day?</li>
<li>What will you do to handle pressure?</li>
</ol>

<p>It&#39;s time to identify why you are frightened then how you will put these first steps in place?</p>
